Harry has had his engineering business in town since 1974. He has served as the Town Engineer for Occoquan and also spent many years on the Town Council. Harry was instrumental in spearheading many projects here in Town, such as the gas lights installed along Mill Street and the boardwalk & pier along the Occoquan River.
Ervin Engineering has been involved in dozens of new and renovated construction projects here in Occoquan - everything from residential to commercial to governmental. Harry's knowledge of the Town and the Northern Virginia area, as well as his extensive engineering experience, makes him one of the highest regarded engineers around. Harry is called upon constantly for advice and consultation from everyone - business associates, friends, and Town employees.
Ken Bagby, LS
Ken has been involved in surveying since the mid 70's and has worked with his step-father, Harry, since the beginning of Ervin Engineering. He received his LS license from Virginia in 1991. His ability to compute "on the spot", while in the field, allows Ken to make changes when needed based on terrain or conditions. Ken's expertise, experience, and professional approach to surveying makes him one of the finest land surveyors in the entire area.
W. Corbett Ervin, Virginia Class A & Oregon GC
Corbett has worked with his brother, Ken, and father, Harry, since the early 80's. He learned to survey under the tutelage of his brother and project management from his father. After working for several years on various construction projects as a framer and super, Corbett received his Oregon GC license in 2003 and Virginia Class A license in 2004.
